HIKE
HIKE works with the social aspects of studying, including both small and large-scale events that are held throughout the year, ensuring that the time you spend studying is filled with fun activities. With HIKE, you can join a ski trip to Åre, or take part in one of their spring or autumn trips to destinations such as Hamburg or Prague. Throughout the year, HIKE also organizes a variety of social events, including quizzes, competitions, and mingling events.
Some examples of events organized by HIKE include Dodgeball, Movember, HI Slaget, and the HIKE Celebration.
We can guarantee you that you will not have a “tråkig” moment with us.

HIKE events
Fall trip
The Fall Trip takes place during the fall semester, after the kickoff. It is very similar to the Spring Trip, and is a trip to a European destination and include various activities. However, the Fall Trip always takes place in a different destination then the Spring Trip. So no worries if you want to join two trips during one year.
HI Slaget
HI SLAGET is HIKEs final event of the school year, where teams compete against each other throughout a series of challenges. The competition eventually leads to a final showdown between two teams, where the winner gets their team name engraved on a trophy.
Hike Celebration
HIKE Celebration is an event held during the fall semester. It consists of several stations with independent competitions located around the parks surrounding the school, where you as students can sign up and compete against each other in teams.
Hike Milen
HIKE<MILEN is a part of the yearly Valborg celebration and usually take place during the week of Valborg. HIKE<MILEN brings student from all over JU together by walking around the lake Munksjön. The event include different stations and games along the walk and is a great start of the Valborg celebration.
Ski trip
The Ski Trip is HIKEs annual trip to the Student Ski Week at one of SkiStar’s destinations, usually around the start of the spring semester. During the trip, HIKE organize different activities in the slopes and the days end with afterski.
Spring trip
The Spring Trip takes place around the middle of the spring semester, where you can join HIKE and travel to a destination in Europe. During the trip, you will explore the city and take part in various activities together with the HIKE team and other students who joined the trip.
